Kids Activity World (KAW) provides friendly, flexible and high-quality wraparound childcare for children from Reception upwards at St Luke's Catholic Primary School.

Our aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children can relax, play, have fun and spend time with their friends before and after school. We believe out-of-school care should be more than simply looking after children. Our sessions give children the freedom to choose how they spend their time, alongside a range of fun activities and opportunities to develop their confidence and independence. 

KAW is Ofsted registered, and a qualified First Aider is always available.

Play, activities and fun

Free play is at the heart of KAW, which is vital for a child’s development. Children can choose what they would like to do, follow their own interests and enjoy time with their friends. We also provide a programme of adult-led activities, giving children opportunities to try something new.

Activities may include:

• Arts, crafts and creative activities

• Sports and active games

• Outdoor play

• Water and sensory play

• Games, puzzles and challenges

• Construction and imaginative play

• Competitions and team activities

• Seasonal and themed activities

 Our team plan activities together while remaining flexible and responsive to what the children enjoy. Children are never pressured to take part in a particular activity — they can join in, play independently or simply relax after their school day.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is open from 7:30am, providing a relaxed start to the school day.

Children can enjoy breakfast, spend time with their friends and take part in some quiet play before being accompanied into school by a member of the KAW team.

Breakfast includes options such as cereal or toast, with fruit available, alongside drinks.

After School Club

After a busy day at school, children can come to KAW to relax, play and have fun.

Children are collected from school by the KAW team and brought to the club, where they can choose from the activities and free-play opportunities available.

A light snack and fruit are provided during the afternoon, with fresh drinking water available throughout the session.

The club is open until 6:00pm, providing flexibility for parents around work and family commitments.

Holiday Club

KAW also provides Holiday Club from 7:30am until 6:00pm during school holidays.

Holiday Club is generally based at Frodsham C of E Primary School, bringing together children from our different KAW clubs and other local schools.

Children can enjoy a varied programme including creative activities, sports, outdoor play, games, challenges and local trips and visits.

Flexible childcare for families

We understand that every family's childcare needs are different. KAW offers both regular contract bookings and ad-hoc sessions, subject to availability.

Parents can manage their childcare online through Kids Club HQ, including registration, bookings, invoices and account information.

KAW accepts a range of payment methods, including BACS, cash, childcare vouchers and HMRC Tax-Free Childcare.
