Year 5 visit to Crucial Crew

Isla from Year Five Said “We learnt not to go on technology 1-2hrs before we go to bed.  This is because you have a hormone in your brain which needs to reduce in order to get you into the sleep mindset.”

Lucy said “We also learnt about crossing the road safely.  Always remember to look both ways and to listen.  We were reminded that when we go to high school, not to let phones become a distraction, take time to look and listen and not follow the crowd.”

Year 5 trip to play violin with The Halle Orchestra

Harley M and Molly said “We were really impressed with the building, it didn’t look very big from the outside, but when you were inside it was amazing. We were quite nervous at first, the piece of music we enjoyed playing the most was ‘Thunder and Lightning’. The Halle Orchestra were really inspirational. They played music around the theme of the Olympics which we are now looking forward to.”
